Their church carries a passion for the word. That's why i want crazylove.org to lift up examples of biblical/radical living. How amazing would it be if the church as a whole was doing this consistently?

I’ve been using francis chan’s read scripture app to try and read through the entire bible for the first time since i went to college and was required to do it for class. A side project of francis chan’s crazy love ministries, this app takes the esv translation of the bible and breaks it up into significant “events” or “time periods” throughout scripture, and then into 198 individual readings. We are so incredibly encouraged by your testimonies!

Meanwhile, i see fewer christians actually talking about jesus with those who don't know him. Taking your family through the entire bible every year will bring you into god’s story in powerful ways. It seems like we've become experts at discussing and criticizing ministry ideas with each other in the church.

Read scripture also now has a podcast where francis chan shares what he has been learning from reading in the same areas that everyone is reading through on the app. In their house church meetings, the discussion is based on that week’s reading of scripture. Right now i’m in i kings, and i’ve been worried about getting material for these weekly articles.
